What is the Drone Zone?

Let's Get Squeaky

A place to play, learn, and connect with community

We're here to be a safe place to explore, surrounded by community members who have been around the block a time or two. Learn some new skills, push your boundaries knowing there are folks nearby to help, and meet new people in a public setting with a focus on consent, respect, and personal responsibility.

We welcome newbies and experienced folks alike!

Where Does the Name Come From?

A drone is a specific role amongst the rubber community wherein a person takes on a submissive role and operates individually to contribute to the betterment of the Hive or Collective much like a worker bee. Drones work hard to improve themselves and make a positive impact on the world through logic and obedience. They can be programmed to perform specific tasks and often enjoy hypnosis videos and rubber.

This fun role was enjoyed greatly by RbrDiver and Ox (RbrPup), as a sub/sub couple that would switch for play but both hated being in charge. By aspiring to improve the  drone collective they both stayed motivated to be their best selves and found structure and purpose in drone challenges and communities.

They regularly referred to their shared living space as The Drone Zone and that name persists to this day.

Who was RbrDiver?

A lifelong interior Alaskan, Gearhead, Rubberist, Partner, and Friend to so many. He enjoyed sharing his love for rubber and gear with as many people as he could and had gear friends all over the world who he chatted with and visited often. He dreamed up the concept of The Drone Zone after feeling that there wasn't a play space in the interior that welcomed and encouraged more masculine gear and fetish pursuits.

He wanted a space that was welcoming to everyone, just like he was. And he strongly felt that sharing space and community would make the world better for everyone. If you've had a good time at a Drone Zone Event you've felt the energy that he worked so hard to cultivate.

He was abruptly taken from us in 2021, but his rubber spirit lives on through his community vision, and I think he'd be proud of what we've built together.
